Interesting bit of Journalism here.

Following the mainstream news media lately one can not avoid noticing a slight bias in the reporting of events in Iran. It appears that the western media do not particularly like Mr. Ahmadinedschad and most certainly do not trust his landslide victory.
The pictures here show a demonstration for Ahmadinejad – only in one picture he is cut out of the picture and the article informs the reader that this is in fact a demonstration against Ahmadinedschad. Of course this may have just been a mix-up and not any spin control.
I doubt that this has anything at all to do with Ahmadinejad's decision to not give away his countries resources to the western corporations. Or to sell his oil for Euros instead of Dollars. None of that could be a reason for the corporate owners of the mainstream media put any spin on the new coverage of Iran, right?
After all, aren't the news media here to protect us from unlawful and unjust actions of Government and business. So aren't the news media right to be suspicious here?
Funny that these same media took somewhat more relaxed stand when a certain Mr. Bush won the US Presidency – even though there were some highly suspicious things going on in Florida where his Brother happens to be the Governor.
But what do I know? I just follow the news media and believe what they tell me to believe.
